There is this beautiful and haunting old song called Miss Otis Regrets by Cole Porter. It's been sung by everyone (I personally enjoy hearing Nat King Cole and Ella Fitzgerld's versions). I did a loose re-invention of the tune called Mr. Till Regrets. What I wrote doesn't follow exactly and adds a stanza but I'll also include a video of the original being sung just in case you're unfamiliar with it.
